I am so energised after Jane’s yoga classes! I feel fully present with a strong awareness of how my mind and body are in - or out - of sync. Jane's classes really help me with the rebalancing of my mind, and that feeling stays with me until my next class where I can work on areas that need it. My yoga is progressing, and I have worked my way up to practising three times a week and I’m really enjoying the benefits of regular sessions.

Jane's classes have been a lifeline for me during the pandemic, both mentally and physically, and are firmly locked into my calendar each week. Jane has succeeded in keeping her online yoga community's spirits high through her caring and nurturing teaching style. We all feel very loved! Jane expertly combines the physicality of the flow with calming visualisation and poetry - at the end of each class, my body feels challenged and energised and my mind in a blissful state of calm. I hold onto this feeling for as long as I can.

'I've attended Jane's contemporary dance classes for over 6 years. She is always very welcoming, there's a great vibe, good music and lots of positive encouragement. There is always a mix of beginners through to experienced dancers and Jane ensures everyone makes progress. Classes are very sociable and I've made some amazing friendships whilst building up my fitness and having fun!'

Originally I came for some specific posture corrections as I felt I might have fallen into some bad habits with my online yoga. Since practising with Jane, I’ve not only improved my form, but I now have a greater depth of knowledge around the postures and every muscle movement required to achieve each one. The words of affirmation spoken by Jane during the class, either via quotes or poetry, and the lessons in breathing have really resonated with my need to be still and in a state of calm. Much of what Jane has taught me I bring to my own practice as much as I can, as well as into my day to day life.

The unique aspect of Jane’s classes is her extensive knowledge of the anatomy and how the body should be moved to keep it healthy. Jane’s dance background is evident; her movements and sequences flow like dances, which for me makes the experience even more inspiring.

I came to yoga for fitness, yes, but more than that. I came to create space in the day for breathing and calm. I love that yoga is able to address so many different aspects in our lives that cause us stress. I consistently feel better having 'made it to the mat' and being kind to both my mind and my body. I am not particularly flexible, but Jane's classes give me the space to explore different movements without judgement or a feeling of inadequacy. Jane encourages us to do what feels right for our bodies over any kind of perfection.
